Secret Voyages
By Gunner Thompson
(see the Audiobook on the same subject by Glenn Kimball)
Gunner is a Ph.D. and a prolific author of history, having written “Lions in the New Land” and “The Friar’s Map” among others. Gunner is a hands-on historian who was the protégé of Thor Heyerdal whose book “Kon Tiki” was among the first to claim that the Ancient Americans had been visited by people from the “Old World”. His voyages across the Atlantic and Pacific were ground breaking. Gunner has also just returned from China were he spent a considerable time convincing the Chinese that their ancient maps which included the Americas were real.
This new book contains nine separate accounts of unknown voyages to the Americas. They include characters like King Solomon who obtained much of the Gold for his famous temple from the Americas. Hiram of Tyre, the architect of the Temple of Solomon actually came to the Americas on one of those voyages. Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of Egypt up until that time, sent an armada to the Americas on a merchant expedition bringing back traded goods that could only be found in the Americas.
Other personalities connected with this included Queen Elizabeth, Marco Polo, Francis Drake, Amerigo Vespucci, Johann Kepler and many more.
Gunner’s story of Zheng he shows the presence of the Chinese in the Americas in the third century BC, at the exact time of the emergence onto the scene, as a great power, of the Mayans.
Christopher Columbus, Vasco de Gamma, John Cabot and others all used the maps of these previous ancient explorers. This is one of the very best books on the subject. Gunner writes it in the context that you can understand and takes the reader on an adventure with him through the “Secret Voyages” of the past.
All of Gunner’s previous books became best sellers and then were no longer in print. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get a copy
